Miami is one of the most popular vacation spots in the United States. It simply has something to offer everyone. From groups of friends who will enjoy the beaches and the pulsating nightlife to families who also want to enjoy the sun sand and surf but also want some other family-friendly attractions Miami never fails to deliver.

One of the essential Miami stops for any family with young kids must be Jungle Island. This attraction combines the natural wonder of the Miami environment with animals and attractions from all over the globe. Aside from the beauty of the flora and fauna on display, there are a number of other attractions that are bound to capture the imagination of both young and old.

The fun is not limited to the daylight hours. From the first week of October until the first week of January the Chinese lantern Festival will be in full swing at Jungle Island. The celebration which is billed as ‘Luminosa – A Festival of Lights’ will include the opportunity to wander the park on paths that are illuminated by the magical light supplied by the artistically inspired Chinese lanterns that will entrance and delight each visitor.

The addition of Adventure Bay to the exciting attractions at Jungle Island means that it offers even more for the younger members of the family. Here the kids can enjoy rock climbing, an aerial ropes course and the highlight of the adventure – kids bungee jumping.

The kids will also get into the swing of things at the battleground, where a variety of foam dart weaponry will allow them to explore their competitive nature in a safe and secure environment. However, adults are also encouraged to take part – this really is great fun for all ages.

it’s not only physical exercise that takes center stage at Jungle Island. exercise your mind in the escape room. Locked in a cabin by a fictitious bad guy participants will have to use all the clues that can be found in order to escape and foil his evil plans. The alternative is the ominously named ‘Asylum’. Here, those taking part will have to use the clues to escape before they become patients of this less than pleasant institution.

The wonderful birdlife on view at the park is enough to capture the imaginations of all who visit – however for some the dream of soaring into the sky like our feathered friends can become a reality at Jungle Island.
