Why Do Pools Pop Out of the Ground?
Pools rarely “jump out of the ground,” but this can happen under certain conditions due to a phenomenon called hydrostatic pressure. When soil becomes saturated with water due to heavy rainfall or flooding, pressure from above can build up and cause underground structures – including swimming pools – to rise up from below.
Another possible explanation is a construction or installation issue. If the pool was not securely attached to the ground or had an issue with its foundation, it may shift and shift over time and eventually rise above ground level.
In either case, it is essential to address the situation promptly in order to prevent any harm to either the pool or its surroundings, as well as for everyone nearby’s safety. For more information about our services, please visit our home page.
